Forbes magazine named the highbrow Banana Island area of
Lagos state in Nigeria as the most expensive neighborhood in the country. A plot
of land in this area is estimated to be sold at the rate of $4million to $6million.

government officials; their mistresses, and wealthy businessmen such as
