Taratino first approached Will Smith for the role of Django which later played by Jamie Foxx in the 'Oscar winning' movie Django Unchained . Will Smith revealed that he deliberately turned down the role because he felt the role of Django wasn't a lead role as opposed to the role played by Christoph Waltz.
